Full color or polyester: which print suits your artwork?

Both styles use a polyester strap. The main difference is how your design is applied: full color uses dye sublimation for multicolor artwork, while standard polyester uses screen printing for distinct imprint colors.

Choose polyester for a clear event name, company logo or team message in distinct imprint colors. Compare full color if gradients or a continuous multicolor pattern are central to the design.

Start with the design you need to reproduce

For gradients, several artwork colors or a continuous pattern, start with full color. Its Your design strap and Full color imprint choices let the artwork supply the color. For a simple event name or logo on a selected strap color, compare screen-printed polyester.

Lay out text and repeating logos at the actual strap width. Both styles offer one-sided and two-sided decoration. Check the selected print-side option, attachment position and final artwork layout before ordering.

Choose width, length and hardware together

Full-color and polyester widths are 5/8", 3/4", 1". Lanyard length choices are 30", 36", 42", 48". Length is not the same as the hanging drop; review the size illustrations in the configurator.

Choose the attachment for the badge or item it will hold. A hook, clip, ring or holder can change how it hangs. The configurator shows the available attachment styles and any added accessories.

Plan quantity, proof and delivery

Compare the same width, length, print sides and attachments at your actual quantity. Minimums and available options vary by style; use the current configurator for the selected product.

After product options, choose whether to request a digital proof and select an available delivery date. Review proof and rush charges in the summary and the final checkout total. Adding an event date does not select a delivery service.
